Your band of pirates is exploring an archipelago of magical islands. Figure out the set of islands that maximizes your profit. Genre: Early-intermediate dice building and worker placement.
You're in charge of a band of 5 pirates exploring the archipelago, gathering and burying rubies. The islands in the archipelago, randomized each game, each have a different action, with actions getting better the deeper a pirate travels. The pirates correspond to 5 of the sides of a d6 die (6 is wild). When you roll a pirate, the pirate can either take the action on their current island, move to another island for a better action later, or loot rubies from another pirate: treasure is a limited communal resource!
Much effort has been put into ensuring that the economics of the game is balanced, allowing for multiple paths to victory.
